The next mid-term conference of the Esa RN 28 Society and Sports will be held in Berne, Switzerland on 20-23
June 2012, hosted within the forthcoming Eass conference (see: http://www.eass2012.ch/index.html ).

We will organize special sessions on the following topics:

• Sport, politics and social movement
• Sport, risk and violence
• Sport and emotion
• Sport and gender
• Sport and media
• Sport and migration
• Sport and religion/spirituality
• Sport development
• Qualitative methodological concerns about sport research
