Era-Age

This major European conference is dedicated to the achievements and future ambitions of the European Research Area in Ageing.  Since 2004 ERA-AGE has drawn together EU Member States and, recently, Canada, to coordinate European ageing research through joint calls and joint activities.

Its major achievements are three joint calls including Europe’s first post-doctoral programme in the ageing field, FLARE and the first European programme of ageing research funded by jointly by the member states themselves – the ERA-AGE programme Active and Healthy Ageing Across the Life Course.

The conference will review the work of ERA-AGE, highlight projects funded by the joint calls and outline the future plans of the consortium
