ECSR, EQUALSOC & University of Trento Summer School 2012 “Inequality and the Life Course”, 3rd – 7th of September, 2012 in Trento, Italy

The European Consortium for Sociological Research (ECSR), EQUALSOC Network of Excellence & University of Trento 2012 Summer School, will take place from 3-7 September 2012. The topic of the Summer School this year is “Inequality and the Life Course”. The Program is coordinated by Professor Paolo Barbieri (University of Trento) and Professor Melinda Mills (University of Groningen) and involves a range of contributions by leading researchers in the field of inequality, life course and event history and related methods.
The substantive program, delivered in the morning sessions, will be supplemented by methodological workshops given in the afternoon tailored to earlier contributions and discussions. These will be held by leading researchers with established track records in relation to the use of cutting edge techniques in the area of life course and inequality. The format seeks to combine the ECSR comparative advantage in relation to substantive sociological issues with the delivery of more structured complementary methodological training.

The deadline for application is 30th of June 2012.
