Ilenya Camozzi



Ilenya Camozzi is Associate Professor in Sociology of Culture at the Department of Sociology and Social Research at the University of Milan Bicocca, where she teaches Intercultural Relations and Cultures, Differences, and Conflicts. She conducted research at the Institut für Sozialforschung, Goethe Universitaet, Frankfurt am Main and at the Institut für Sozialwissenschaften at the Humboldt Universitaet zu Berlin, funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. She coordinates the Research Network Everydaylife of the Italian Sociological Association (2018-2021) and is member of the Steering Committee of the Doctoral Programs ‘Analysis of Social and Economic Processes’ (University of Milan-Bicocca). Her research interests are multicultural societies, everyday multiculturalism, migrants’ associations, second generation, youth, mobility and cosmopolitanism.
