Carlo Pennisi is full professor of Sociology of Law. He was a member of the Board of the Italian Evaluation Association; he is President of the Research Centre of the University of Catania LaPoss. É membro dell’International Sociological Association and of theEuropean Sociological Association. He was a member of the Evaluation Centre of the University of Palermo in 1998-2000. He was counselor of the Sicilian Region and of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers on social policy issues. He is a member of the scientific committee of several scientific journals and scientific series in the field. He wrote about the change in public administrations and about the role of legal norms and evaluation to understand and guide them.
