Gevisa La Rocca is associate professor of Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the University of Enna “Kore”. She is scientific coordinator of the international research group Rischio, comunicazione e società/Riesgo, comunicación y sociedadHer research interests cover: mediatization of emotions, risks and digital environments, public service advertising, hashtag studies, qualitative data analisis. She has written several publications, and recently she was editor of the volumes: Technological and Digital Risk: Research Issues and Media, Migrants and Human Rights (Peter Lang, 2020).
