Marco Pedroni is an Associate Professor at eCampus University, where he teaches Sociology of communication and Sociology of digital media. He is a co-editor of theInternational Journal of Fashion Studies. He carried out teaching and research activity at the University of Bergamo, the Politecnico of Milan, the Università Cattolica of Milan, where he is a member of ModaCult research centre. He has taught as an invited lecturer for several courses and institutions, including the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, the Aalto University, the London College of Fashion, the University of Seville and the Izmir University of Economics. He is the author of Coolhunting and Fenomenologia dei social network (FrancoAngeli, 2010) and Fenomenologia dei social network (Guerini e associati, 2017, with G. Boccia Artieri, F. Pasquali, L. Gemini, S. Carlo e M. Farci). His work focuses on fashion, cultural industries and gambling. His articles have been published in national and international journals, including Fashion Theory, Poetics, Film, Fashion & Consumption, OBS, Journal of Public Policy, Rassegna Italiana di Sociologia and Studi Culturali, He has also published several essays in edited books.
