ESA RN36 Midterm Conference 2025 in Rome

Dear colleagues, the RN36 board is pleased to announce that the Call for Papers is now open for the next Midterm Conference of ESA RN36 “Sociology of Transformations: East and West”, which will take place on 6–8 November 2025 at the Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma – UNINT, in Rome, Italy. The conference, titled “Top-down and bottom-up dynamics of social transformations: Agencies, Processes, and Trajectories,” aims to explore contemporary social transformations through both theoretical and empirical perspectives, with a particular focus on the actors, processes, and trajectories shaping these complex dynamics. We welcome individual paper proposals as well as panel submissions on a wide range of topics. Please see the call for papers for info.
